We have a strange occurrence - a selection area that does not go away.

The object of this selection area remains even after deleting all blocks.
The selection are is selectable and can even be sized. It cannot be moved or deleted. Video is as seen on my PC:

I hope to share this project for review, if I can find a way to delete the statistics of the project.

To my regret, nothing comes to mind.
I've had a project from a user, where a block, which was not completed, remained invisible and the user did not delete it.
This always has the transfer of the program to the LOGO! prevented.
But I could find the block via the function "Block Properties (All Blocks)" and then "Select block from drawing" and then delete it, even though it was not visible.

Your case seems to me to be something for the Support.

My colleague selected and copied the whole program; pasting it into a new project. The selection block did not come with it. Downloading the newly made program to the Logo was not a problem.

This is not the first time I experience some similar issue. It always has something to do with an off-page connector being selected. Normally I get a way of selecting something close by that forces a refresh on the lingering selection area.

This is the first time I have no remedy to make this occurrence go away.

Making a Support Request is the right idea.

But I am not going to create a Support Request. It is a big mess to have the first responder of the support guys know that he needs to kick it up to higher levels. Even bigger mess if he realise that there is no customer project in danger of failing.

If the Siemens designers read our posts, they can get the program from here. That is why I have placed it here.
