can adress PIW 8984747492110 be valid?

Osman_ Posts: 243 Rating: (4)	sure it won't be valid but what are the limits for s7-300 cpu and s7-400 cpu? My hardware was full I assigned new analog input as PIW3000 in s7-300 thein it did not work. when I changed it to PIW800 it worked.I assigned digital input I1120.0 it did not work. but PIW1030 is working at s7-400. I just want to learn max limits and I could not find them at somewhere. Thank you and sorry for my weird english. I'm little bit sleepy

There you can find data about the address-space of the PLC: Here for examle a CPU317-2PN/DP: older CPU have much smaller address-areas. Just have a look at your specific PLC by typing in the MLFB in the search box in the upper right. hope this helps, regards,
