I need some help with Logo8.

I need to implement a parts counter that upon reaching an X number, connect a digital output.
I need to see the counted parts on the display and at the same time I can change the total count number when I need the keys on the HMI. It is possible?

Note: I have never used Logo8, so I have difficulty with the block language.
If you can show me an example in ladder, I appreciate it.

LAD program in LOGO looks not that great. FBD is better for LOGO and I had seen many people saying LAD in LOGO has lots of bugs as well. Never used LAD in LOGO. But FBD is easy to understand and programming is easy as well.

Also make sure where you connect your Digital input based on the configuration of LOGO. If you hadn't enable any AI, then it should be straight in the first one in the LOGO.

VM Mapping is for HMI connection.

Just start with something as in the attached photo and see whether it can fit your requirement. There are many experts here who can guide you through, just make sure you make an attempt first and see how it goes.
