I have sinumerik 840D machine.. i have a .com files in which a line, i want to understand this line meaning and how this will activate..  DB105.DB20.0 This is an open contact used in plc programmaing

but i try to activate this but i did not find how to active it see attached file and tell me where can i find in this in HMI softkeys..

other .com files. i want to complete understanding of these files and how HMI send commands to NC Cpu and PLC CPU.. i want to see NC CPU programming..

all files complete understanding and any manual 

So quite a large request but i shall try.

So the Easy screen starts with the easyscreen.ini in the path oem/hmi/cfg

Here you should have some code looking like this.

StartFile01 = area := AreaMachine, dialog := SlMachine, menu := SlMaJogTurnMenuHU, startfile := ma_jog.com

This basically tells the controller to activate the MA_JOG.COM file that you send in the JOG part of the screens.

So first of all it starts with the MA_JOG.COM 

here was defined 3 soft keys

HS4=("User settings")

HS5=("Spindle manual speed")

HS8=("Magazine management")

This would give you 3 soft keys then load another .com file.

In your case you want to know about the dkgl.com file, that is open when the 8th softkey is press.

the code lookes like this

Then it opens the dkgl.com

Here is alot of variables defined that agian is combined to a actual value, in this case PLC DB105

A example is below

DEF VAR32=(I///,"12:",,""/WR1,AC6,fs1//"DB105.DBB12"/410,170,30/445,170,15,/0,5)

Now lets brake it down.

DEF = Define 

Var32 = Variable 32

=(I///  = This variable is an Integer - Other forms are available i suggest looking at Programming Manual, 08/2018, 6FC5397-1DP40-6BA2 for more detailt.

,"12:",."" = Shows a text on the screen, in this case a value 12: i shown as text, the , "" Can be used for another value to line up, normally i use this for mm at the end of the input box.

/WR1, = This makes the Variable Read only! WR2 would be read and write

AC6, = protection level 6 is required to see the variable (Keyswitch position 1)

fs1, = is default font size, 8 (pt)

//"DB105.DBB12"/ = is the source of the value to be shown and/or edited in variable 32

/410,170,30/445,170,15,/0,5)  = All of this is position values for the different text and input boxes on the HMI.

Now in dkgl.com there is 2 vertial soft keys.

Now if VS3 is pressed it executes this code

END_PRESS

This will change all of these variables from WR1 (read only) to WR2 (read and write)

This should enable you to be able to change the value in VAR65 to 1 or 0, and there by changeing the status in DB105.DBB20 from 0 to 1

But this VAR65 also has the statement AC2 - So you need to be in a protection level higher then 2. in this case 2 is service or higher

Very helpful.. now please tell me which files intemperate between NC and plc for running axis motor and spindle motor.. i also want to know that in my plc there is most of FC blocks are empty. what does it means.. actually i want to understand complete operation of sinumerik 840d start to end..
