Hello guys,

I have Simatic manager v5.6, CFC 8.2 & S7-F System V6.2 installed on a windows 10 PC. Now I need to change this to a windows 7 PC. I want to know whether these version of siemens software are compatible in windows 7. Can someone help please.

PS: I used the siemens compatibility tool and the result says windows 7 is compatible. But when i'm adding CFC 8.2, the compatibility tool is not showing windows 10 in compatible list. But I already have these all installed in a windows 10 system, which makes me wonder this tool's credibility!! ( I have attached a screenshot of compatibility tool)

Yes, I already visited that page. There are 2 documents attached in the end of the page. The second document is a compatibility list pdf document. But according to that document, CFC versions upto 8.2 is not supported by windows 10, which is wrong. (Also It's written "04/2017-AFb" in that document, so I guess it's from the year 2017)

I guess the compatibility between CFC v8.2 and Windows 10 is not tested, so it is not released.

(Meaning it might work, but no guarantees. )

Please find the attached photo for your reference. By the legends of that document, windows 10 and CFC8.2 is a "combination not permitted". It's not a "combination not tested" case. Maybe it's an old document, so I tested it in compatibility tool, same result there!!

 Windows 7 compatibility is my concern. but I don't want to trust a document where windows 10 compatibility is wrong. I posted this here hoping someone would come forward and say- "I use CFC 8.2 on windows 7 and it works just fine." :)
