Convert from S5 to S7 - what have I exactly to do

Im take from my customer this atached project in S5 so I need to make convert s5 into s7, but im reading on forums that I need to do some preparation in S5 for converting sw...so I please you all to tell me exactly what I need to do... I will trust you here on siemens support forum ..How I can Upload whole SW from S5, using Simatic5? I will make Upload archive before anything next... I will be thankfull to all wit information. You are using a 944CPU in withand aL2-DP Interface Card You have 5 OP7 Panels . If you have Protool you can change the Driver in the Controler Property Window and resuse the OP 7 Panels. You have to manualy reassign the Tags in S7 Fomat , and adjust your S7 Program if needed.Also do not forget your Area Pointers. The Program is very straight vorward and the S5 to S7 Conversion Program should work fine. There is some work that has to be done bevore you can convert the S5 Progam. Remove FB58 TDOP:DP for the OP7 Communication . It is not required in S7. Remove FB240 to FB252 . You can add them back later with in the S7 Program with standard FC's . Also , there is no Hardware Upload like in S7 . The more important Question is if your I/O is all located in the Main Rack or do you use a Remote Rack of the L2-DP Card. Please have a look at the Post form JMJ about S5 to S7 conversion . The Link there is very usefull. If you need more assistance please reply.

Are you shure that thisis therunning copy of the PLCProgram??? . You have some call to FB,s in OB1 that do not exist in your S5 Program. I converted the Program to S7 and included a 315PN/DP as CPU.
