Hi, I'm relativley new to Siemens PCS7 and I need some helpwith hopefully a small issue.

I'm using the standardCFCcontrol valve blocktoopen and close a pneumaticvalve.When anoperator wants to open the valve from the DCS they click on the valvegraphic and then choose open or close.I also wantto include a physical open/close push button beside the valve in the field from which the operators can open and close the valve.

I want a situation where thephysicalopen/closepushbutton and the DCS valve control can be usedinterchangeably, i.e. operator canopen the valve on the DCS and then closeit on the local pushbutton, and vice versa.

Isit possible to have the open/close pushbutton inputs connected to the valve block?

Any ideas?
