I have done parameterization as suggested by you. But when I set p2106 as per suggestions vfd give instant tripping on fault f0085 and can't reset.

As MM440 by default will reduce the Speed rather than Tripping on overcurrent after reaching current limit set in P640, so many times it is required that drive should be Trip as soon as it reaches Limit set by us

Here is one method I normally use for this. It will give External Trip fault (F085)

P2170 - Set Current Limit
P2171 - Set Time for tripping after reaching limit set in P2170 (time in ms)
P2800 - 1 Enable Free Block
P2801.3 - 1 Enable NOT gate
P2828 - 53.3 invert signal for External Trip
P2106 - 2829 - Will give external Trip

This settings will trip drive on F085 as soon as time elapsed as set in P2171 after current reached as set in P2170
