Dear Eric, Perhaps this link is useful: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/19865167 I think it is not possible using profibus. When using ethernet it is possibleto transfer datarecords to a PC. I'm not sure it will work between two MP377. Perhaps using OPC option? Best regards, Wizard |

Hi The link is interesting but not for my problem . It has to do with recipes and I have little knowledge of recipes.I presume that you attach x amount of tags to a recipe and send these 'updated 'tags to the PLC when you select a new recipe. What happens if you have two MP's ? Say you changed the recipe on the one and send the info to the PLC.Are the other MP's tags updated ? Or can you update/create new recipe via the PLC Another possible solution were are looking at is the install a ethernet cable between the two MP's or to manually export/import the recipes using a USB stick Greetings Eric |

Hi Eric, Perhaps this link will give you more information about recipes: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/23901413 You can export datarecords, from panel to PC (or USB stick). And import them on another panel (if the same recipe is used) Best regards, Wizard |

Hi I think for a interim solution we will go for the USB stick export/import. Eric |
