WinCC Flex 2007 RT with PLCSim

Damian_2007 Posts: 21 Rating: (0)	Hi, Sorry but I can´t make to work together WinCC Flex 2007 RT with PLCSim . I set the interface to PCAdapter Auto, the MPI address, but is not working. In the HMI the I/O Field shows ###### and show en messages PLC disconnect. Please, Can you help me with this ? I don´t know if I´m doing something wrong. Anybody knows well the steps to make this works ?? Thanks and best regards. Damian

Scott Posts: 81 Rating: (9)	Damian_2007, Depending on the version of PLC Sim you are using V5.3 or V5.4. To connect using V5.3 you must have an MPI port configured in you Step 7 Hardware. It can't be a DP port. Also, make sure you configure the addresses of the MPI correctly. PLC as address 2 (I believe this is the default for the PLCsim or change accordingly) and WinCC flex PC as Master and address 1. In WinCC make sure you setup what slot the MPI port is setup in your hardware. In version 5.4 setting up the PLC sim you can connect using multiple different connections. It will give you options for the project hardware you have configured. I don't have V5.3 anymore else I would attach a screen shot. Good Luck

Damian_2007 Posts: 21 Rating: (0)	ZAK, you right, but this adapter only appears when I install PLCSIM V5.4 SP2, is not included with the V5.3. Well I installed that adapter, then I select the adaptar in the SET INTERFACE PC-PG and WinCC Flex and PLCSIM run togheter, no problem, BUT I can´t go online with the FCs, FBs or Variable Tables in STEP7, I dont know why. Can you help me ? Thanks Damian
