Dear All,

This is regarding the configuration of the station using Step7.

If I right click the station, the select PLC > Configure. It always shows this error. I'm 100% sure that I used a different MAC address for the 2 CP1623 cards (see next post).

If I configure the station by manually adding the CP1623 in the station configurator, it works fine and I'm able to download the station from the simatic manager by PLC ? download

can you list down your ES1, OS1 and OS2 in excel and compare them see whether any duplication?

ES1 CP1623 = 20-87-56-AB-63-33

OS1 CP1623 = 20-87-56-AB-62-3F,   CP1623(1) = 20-87-56-A3-73-30

OS2 CP1623 = 20-87-56-AB-61-B7,   CP1623(1) = 20-87-56-A3-73-34

 These are the actual MAC address on the card itself.

Btw, I have managed to configure using the simatic manager by changing to any board assignment (under properties of the card), then changing it back to the correct one (board2) - see attached pic.

I'm able to configure it automatically anytime I want it, now.
