that's weird. I mean at the and there is no difference in the data structure and when creating a DataBlock according the rules it should work. I do not expect any differences between the instance Datablock and Shared Datablock.

Besides all that, I noticed the issue on AS level. When the Datablock is compiled from the source the attribute definition is already weird which can be seen in Datablock declaration view.

Isn't it weird?

Just to add on, to bring User Datablock to OS, you must enable

1. Blocks folder-> the user DB -> right click - > special Object properties -> Enable Operator control and monitoring.

How about data block properties? In your view, go to file, properties, Attributes. Put S7_m_c there.

I was curious to try in a DB but it didn't work in whatever ways I tried

unfortunately yes. It just does not support it. I looked in my previous projects how I did it in the past and indeed I used FB for that purpose :) but it shouldn't be like that...
