PCS 7 V9 SP1 (and SP2) includes SIMATIC NET PC Software V14

and SIMATIC NET SOFTNET-IE RNA V14 (separate package).

PCS 7 V9.0 SPx supports Windows 10 and Windows 2016 (and older)

SIMATIC NET SOFTNET-IE RNA V14 does NOT support Windows 10 and Windows 2016.

SIMATIC NET SOFTNET-IE RNA V15 SP1 DOES support Windows 10 and Windows 2016.

SIMATIC NET SOFTNET-IE RNA V15 SP1 does NOT support PCS 7 V9.0 SP1 or SP2.

We really don't want to force our customer to downgrade to Windows 7/8.1 just to get the PRP redundant network.

Any ideas ?

SIMATIC NET SOFTNET-IE RNA V14 does NOT support Windows 10 and Windows 2016. 

In the compatibility tool for PCS 7 V9.0 you can find the information that PCS 7 V9.0 SP1 and PCS 7 V9.0 SP2 is tested and released for Window 7 and Windows 10. All software that is listed with a green mark is also tested and released from Siemens on all operation systems (expect if there is a footnotes).

So you can use Windows  10, PCS 7 V9.0 SP2 and SIMATIC NET SOFTNET-IE RNA V14 on the same PC.

You're right, I was a bit quick reading the description text in Industry Mall. Windows 10 is released, however I also need Windows 2016 and that is not released. The Simatic net softnet-ie RNA is an independent package compared to the rest of the Simatic net PC software. The latter has an update to V14 SP1 but I have not found any update to the Softnet-ie RNA package (except V15 of course).
