provence Posts: 50 Rating: (2)	is it possible to use a 1215c as a slave on logo v8 - only reason is to use the rtd with better range for one item to show on HMI.

provence Posts: 50 Rating: (2)	Thank You for reply . Would it be possible to use that 1215 w/rtd to show a greater range than logo. I want to set a range of -80 to show on a touch screen (tp700). & then try to use the logo access excell spreadsheet to save data.

The range -50 °C to 200 °C applies to the LOGO! only if the temperature value of a PT100 / 1000 is determined via the AM2 RTD expansion module.

But then I need the following information: - The exact order number of the S7-1215C and the firmware version. - Which TIA version you use. - Which LOGO! (0BA8.Standard or LOGO! 8.FS4).

To be able to test the example in reality, I unfortunately had to use a 1212C as an S7 CPU, because I have one. The LOGO!, which I have, is a LOGO!8.2 12/24 RCE. The most important: Set up a network project in the LOGO! program. Insert a LOGO!8.FS4 and an S7-compatible device there. Create an S7 connection between the LOGO! and the S7 (with the LOGO! as client), in which you pull the connection line from the LOGO! to the S7. Attachment provence.zip (347 Downloads)
