when I click "suggestion" for a post in a conference where I'm expert, I get a pull down menue with 14 entries. If I do the same in another conference, I get only 4 entries. Is this difference intentional?

thank you for your question.

The number of different Type of suggestion is intentional.
Regular community members should have a compact list of the most important types.
Experts are more familiar with the forum. So they got the chance to give a more detailed suggestion. Expert status is linked to the conferences where you are nominated as an expert. This is the technical reason why only within "your" conferences the expanded list is shown. But be sure, moderators will be able to understand your intention with suggestions independent from the selected type.
But maybe we should double check the existing entries. Maybe some of them are duplicated at the moment?
