Alarm logging does not restart after reconnecting network cable

Simotion Posts: 223 Rating: (1)	I have a MP377 that logs alarms in CSV-format directly on a pc by ethernet. This works fine, but when I disconnect the network cable and reconnect again the alarm logging stays stopped, same if the pc is rebooted. Only solution is to restart the runtime on the panel or repowering the panel. How can this be avoided, logging should restart spontaneously.

I think it's better to archive the data on a storage card and then you copy the archivesvia script and sheduler to the remote computer. Bye

Does anyone if you can regtister an reconnection to the network in the panel to execute at that momemet an close all logs, open all logs. How often can you use thes functions, f.e. every 5 minutes, every hour, without disadvantages?

The Body Posts: 836 Rating: (71)	You are right, 'close all logs' 'and 'open all logs' could be a workaround. The problem is that these systemfunctions needs a lot of time, depending of the size of your archive. That means, they can't be triggered early enough.
