Good morning,

Currently i´m using the a 2-wire (6ES7134-6HD01-0BA1) analog input. And i need to connect some 4-wire transmitters. Is that possible, without using an expensive converter?

I also have an a postion potenciometer that i would need to connect. For this type of I/O i would also need an converter. My issue is that i can´t find a resistance converter for an active output of the analog card.

If you want to connec tsome potenziometer to a analog in-module you can use th follow part

Resistance/potiposition transducer - MINI MCR-2-POT-UI-PT - 2902017 from Phoenix Contact

Otherwise to connect a 4-wire (active) sensor to a 2-wire analog input you need e.g.

Loop-powered isolators - MINI MCR-2-UI-I-OLP-PT - 2902063

4-Wire:

I draw an example, the instrument on the right is 2-wire transmiter connected directly to the analog input, and no doubts about that connection. 

Concerning the instrument on the left, it will be an active output (+24V), that will connect directly to the I0+ ? 

Potentiometer:

For that i would need a external 0-10V power supply, right?

Came out excatly with the same solution, but still not confortable using those expensive trnasmiters.

for the potentiometer you need a external voltage.

If you use the "expensive" transmitter then you don't need the external voltage.

Both solutions work.

The challenge with potentiometer is that you have a voltage , maybe over a long connection.
I use for longer distances standard the transmitter, because tat the output of the transmitter I have a current signal. That's easier for the EMC (electromagnetic compatibility).
