Inno Advanced Member Joined: 7/22/2009 Last visit: 1/12/2026 Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hi Pegaia, I am trying to simulate communication between two S7-1500 PLC's, and I used your example to get started, but I am having some difficulties: The TSEND_C block seems to never finish the sending operation (that is when I use it in PLCSim), the 'Done', 'Error', 'Busy' flags of the block allways stays false, and the status code I get is 16#7002 (Busy Sending data). I would expect the 'Busy' flag to at least be true when the data is being sent, but this is not the case. The TRCV_C block seems to work properly, in the sense that it thinks it gets the data in properly (no errors, a lot of "DONE" flags), althoug the length of the data is always '0'. Did you manage to test this on hardware, or get it working in the simulation? Kind regards, Altus

Toombs Posts: 91 Rating: (4)	A very important component to getting this to work that may not be obvious from the example is you must go into the hardware configuration and manually create a TCP connection or it will only error out on recieve.

My suggestion in this case: Take a look if your STEP7 is up to dated (V12 SP1) Check if the download file has the right size (1.390 KB) – if not try to download from other web browser. After download the archive, “unzip” it to obtain the TSEND_C_TRCV_C.zap12. Some file browser shows the contends of zip files as folders/archives, but TIA needs that the project stay in a real folder, not in a zip file. Use the command “retrieve” from STEP 7.
