Could you please advise me what kid of configuration (which plc should I use ). Is it possible to use s7-1200 for this with analog rtd inputs? Kind regards Leszek

Konstantin_D Posts: 306 Rating: (78)	Yes, you can use the S7-1200. But only 8 (max. modules) x 8 (AI) + 1 (board) = 65 sensors can be connected to one PLC. Therefore, sensors can be connected via distributed I / O, for example, ET200SP.

So do you think I can use two units of s7-1200 (each with different IP) connected to the one PC with runtime and visualisation made in TIA Portal ? each S7-1200 would has 7 modules (ET 200SP, 8xRTD inputs) Kind regards Leszek
