Hello Experts,

I want to Measure Current using S7 1200 PLC (CPU 1214C DC/DC/DC) on board analog input  channel. But It only shows voltage measurement in measurement type. and i dont want to add extra analog input channel,

Help me out

The built-in analog inputs of the controller are only 0-10V. You can:

• add signal module SM 1231
  
• add SB 1231 board
• install signal converters, for example 3RS70

If you don't want to add any module or signal board you can use any signal converter to convert your voltage signal into current format.

In SIEMENS you can use 3RS1705-1FW00 for converting a signal.
