Hi guys

i have some customer using s7-1513-1 (6ES7513-1AL01-0AB0) when i search this product this item already in spare-part, the successor is 6ES7513-1AL02-0AB0, i search this one its same spec with the old ones, the question is if they want to change the old processor can they use the new one and plug & play with the old or i must take upload the project first inside the old PLC and reprograming with the new PLC ?

When replacing a CPU (e.g. 6ES7511-1AK01-0AB0) with a compatible successor type (e.g. 6ES7511-1AK02-0AB0), the TIA Portal project does not need to be changed; upgrade of the TIA Portal project is not required.
