hello, how I can connect and configure RS 232 to Simatic IoT ?

As of now, I am using RS232 to connect my IOT2040. X30 is set to be RS232 through command of "iot2000setup".

I would like to ask:

1) How do I determine whether the connection between IOT2040 and PLC (Omron) is established via RS232? Any command to ping?

2) You said it can read using Node-Red. Any manual or instruction that we can follow for that?

These 2 questions will solve my university problem. Our future lies in your hand, dear sir.
