Buttsy65 Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Could anyone help me with a problem? i have an issue with a 4-20ma device input, what i would like to do is to monitor the bottom end of the scale 4 to 4.513ma, what i would like to do then is to output this range as full scale 4-20ma.. this would output to an electronic chart recorder displaying 0-100% To give a little more detail the unit i have is operating at 0-30,000psi i have multiple tests that operate at different pressures i dont want to install multiple transducers. the next value or test would be 0-2500 psi and so on... I hope that makes sense let me know if anyone has any thoughts

This only works until the second decimal place. And if you want to convert the range of 4.00 mA to 4.51 in a range of 4-20 mA, there are very large jumps in the output range, since the resolution greatly deteriorated. If you want, I can make you an example.

The analog amplifiers B003 and B004 are only used to display the current value of the input signal and the output signal (in mA) for the display. In the properties of the analog output you have to select the type 4-20 mA (see the screenshot of the simulation). Attachment Example.zip (190 Downloads)
