Report Generation help

S7Mgr Posts: 77 Rating: (0)	Dear All, Iam using WinCC Flexible 2007 Advanced with PC configuration. I need help on report generation of few process values tags. I have tried to do it by creating a recipe in WinCC Flexi with my process values as an indivual recipe elements and connecting it with ODBC microsoft access file.I have also given my microsoft access file path in recipe properties but stillnot able to create connection with database. I have also generated a query in microsoft access, but I think something is missing..??? Anybody have done this before or other way round then please help..## Also wanna know that we have purchased a License of WinCC Flexible Advanced RT with Archieve, so do I need buy Recipe license in this case........ My ultimate aim is to create Report...........Please comeup with some good pointers.........I request experts to spread light on this....@@@ Regards,...

In my opinion you do not need recipes to generate a report. Best regards, Wizard

S7Mgr Posts: 77 Rating: (0)	Dear Wizard, That for your concern, actuallyI have not done the report part before in flexi, actually i am doing data logging of the process values that i need in report. Right now Iam gettingdata into the Microsoft access file. But my report structure should be as such that it generate final report into excel file with specified start date, stop date, start time and stop time. We have purchased license forRT witharchive.. If you have any idea regarding anyother type of simple report then please suggest.... Regards,

S7Mgr Posts: 77 Rating: (0)	Dear All, Well, need help of someone from VB background, I am archieving data on MS access database via data logging function,Ineed to fetch that data into my excel sheet to specified cells. I am starting datalogging and stopping the same by buttons on SCADA screen and by hitting Report Generation button on my SCADA screen, it should generate the report with date of generation as the default name. Please raise some pointers to this issue, as Iam expecting a lot from the VB maestros worldwide working on siemens ..... Regards, S7Mgr
