MP370 + CF card + Reset the power = problems

Nocz Posts: 23 Rating: (0)	Hi, I am logging data history, trends and audit trail on a CF-card. Everything is working fine until I cut the power to the plc and the panel and reboots again without exit:ing the panel (where i stop all logging first). When the panel has rebooted and windowsCE starts I get this error dialog windows saying that the file (data log, trends and audit) has an incorrect file size, would you like to automatically fix the problems, yes, noand cancel. If I select yes, the panel renames the original file to .bak and inserts a empty file, .csv. So I will have to select no to get it to work and I "loose" e.g. the trends, it start over on a new file. The questionI have is if it's possible to get rid of these error dialog at after the reboot? Every help is appriciated! Thanks.

Nocz Posts: 23 Rating: (0)	So when you cut the power without closing down the panel correctly you will got these "errors"? Is it not possible to disable these "incorrect file size" and making a .bak file of the current file.

Or you have to use a USV if you can not switch off the panel with "StopRuntime" regards,

picengineer123 Posts: 95 Rating: (0)	Hello I read this post and am having the same issue, but further, the operating system seems to have locked up. The operator cannot select any option in the memory card error notification window. I had the operator cycle power, but Windows boots to the same error notification with no touch panel response. I can log into the MP370 via the internet, but the only screen that responds is the smart client. The window in IE has a notification of "no input" where the mouse moves. Any ideas how to gain control locally or remotely? thanks John
