CP1413-1(Step 5 COM) to communicate with CP1612 using MAC address in WinCC

Tariq Posts: 50 Rating: (1)	Dear Sir, I am having CP1413-1 in my S5 Hardware. It is communicating with WinCC via CP1612 (which is inside my Desktop CPU). I have done all the configuration of CP1612 from configuration console and surely its working OK. Now when i am trying to communicate with s5 through CP1413-1 in WinCC through MAC Address (using CP1612), i am not able to make communication. My CP 1413-1 is already in run mode and my S5-CPU is also in run mode. i have also put communication blocks for CP1413-1 in s5 CPU. Kindly help me out,Does i have to make someconfiguration of CP1413-1 through step-5 software or is there any other mistake which i am doing. I did communication of CP1612 with CP443-1, it was very easy. but how to do communication of CP1612 with CP1413-1using MAC Address (meaning CP1612 ISO Protocol) I need yr help urgently. Tariq Posts: 50 Rating: (1)	Well Mr. Umencho I got this CP Number from WinCC TAG Management. May be its wrong. I am now writing the order # written on the Card. It is, Siemens SINEC 6GK 1143-0TA02 Really send me the solution to communicate above card with CP1612 and start my communications with WinCC. Regards, Tariq

Follow this FAQ: Commissioning and Configuring an ISO Transport Connection between the SIMATIC S5 and SIMATIC S7 via Industrial Ethernet And I think this also will be easy like CP1612. best regards

Also in my CP 1612,which is in my PC, only one LED is glowing.And my WinCC is not communicating. Any help? Regards. Ambrish.
