I am assembling the control panel for the filtration unit, it is already ready, but it turned out that the valves on the SMC pneumatic terminal are connected according to the npn scheme... can they be connected somehow, without intermediate relays? There is no more space in the Cabinet under the relay. I will slightly reinterpret the question, in the connection diagrams of the relay logo it is indicated that the positive wire is connected to the relay contacts and switched. Is it possible to connect part of the relay to the positive terminal and the negative part of it? Are these contacts connected within the logo?

This means that neither side of a relay contact is permanently connected to a potential. The contacts are also not firmly among themselves connected. With each relay contact you can choose which potential or which voltage level (up to 230 VAC) you want to Switch.
