TIA portal and Start drive

Controls_Tech Posts: 20 Rating: (0)	Hello everyone, I have recently purchased TIA portal V16 and it also came with a start drive disk I have installed all the software and managed to do a bit of tinkering programming at my desk with a S7-1200, I can`t figure out how to get to start drive software, it did not create a shortcut but when I look in TIA portal >> Installed software it states that Sinamics start drive is installed. I do not have a inverter to configure yet I was just wanting to get use to the layout or perhaps use Simosim. I am just starting with Siemens software/hardware.Thanks in advance

But! SIMOSIM doesn't work with STARTDRIVE. SIMOSIM is the Simulation for SIMOTION D4x5-2 Controller, for that you need Scout TIA installed. Regards Christoph
