Hi every body i have the same problem , i have a FB10 its called  FB10_Main

and i have FB20  inside FB10_Main  so FB20 its used several times i mean called more than 5 times but when i call it the timer is working only for the first call for other calls its not work , note that i am working in Step 7 not TIA Portal , any kind of help would be very very and very appreciated ............,

 You need to set aside one individual  timer for each applications if you intend to use SIMATIC Timers.In your case , it is possible to have the SIMATIC TIMER as input of FB and assign it to the TIMER you are using.If you use T100 , it can not handle 5 different tasks.

For a multi-instance application , you can use IEC timer SFB3 as PULSE Timer and you will be free of SIMATIC TIMER  assignment.

hello every one ,

i have a FB10  which is used to control a solenoid valves  and inside FB10 its has a timer for receiving open feed back switch  , i have five different valves i want to call FB10 several times each time is for individual valve let say ( Valve_A ,Valve_B , Valve_C , Valve_D and Valve_E) when i want to send command open to the valve_A then all other valves  receiving the same task as i sent to the valve_A

please need help to manage all the valves using only one  FB to control all of them

i tried many times but i am really getting annoying without any result ,

main problem is the timer , it is only working for the first call for other call not work

 to share some related points:

1. Practical FB for valve control doesn't actually using TIMERS to check feedback signals.There are embedded counters that added measure time value based on the cyclic interrupt is called and execution rate.Like all block in PCS 7.
   
   
2. If you call each FB with a Separate  iDB and perform the proper parameterization , you will be OK with the valve control.
   
   
3. Valves are Fail to Open and some Fail to Close , Just remember this functionality in your mind.
   
   
4. You have the chance to use ready blocks and integrate face-plates in your WINCC project.Check HERE.
