Have PCS7 7.1 project do not want the area name in front of the tagname. how can this be done? don't want the area name on the faceplates and alarms. |

I checked all folders and they are all de-selected allready. there must be a way to do this. thanks Gary |

Once you have created the Icons, it won't overwrite the Tag field (since you may have customized the Tag field after icon was created). Would have to delete and re-generate icon from either a compile or update block icons option. Another option would be to (temporarily) modify the config files that controls what properties get retained from block icon creation to update(s).See FAQ 37436848. cabreytj |
