Hello, 

I am currently getting "Batch could not be archived" error on 3 batches. None of my other batches have this error. 

Batches are set to auto archive after 24 hrs. I looked and saw the xml file along with the PDF file for these batches. There is also a lock next to the batch names in Control Center. This leads me to believe it was archived ok. 

Is there a way for me to do more debugging to see what why this error is occurring for only some batches?

Currently having the same problem, I think that Batch server auto-archives the batches once, but half an hour later he tries to do it again for some reason....and fails, since the batches are already archived.

I think the reason why it is happening only for some of your batches is that you restarted Batch server in between....Normally he stops trying after restart.

Have you tried to install the latest Siemens patches for Batch ( the latest is 9.0 SP1 Upd3) ?

I haven't yet.. but maybe that could help.
