Hello everybody,

I want to create timer for program total run time and pump run time in Siemens LOGO 0BA8. Expected run time is 240 hours/year and pump time should not reach more than 100 hours/year. Is there better/more elegant way how to implement it than via separate counters like I did in attached UDF? Resolution in seconds is crucial to me as I plan to incorporate flow counter upon pump run time.

Also, I do not like the screen look for the timer. It consumes 3 rows of display in very inefficient manner. It is clear, that number of seconds will not consume more than two digits (max 59), the same applies to minutes counter. For hours I could do with 3-4 digit width. Is it possible to change display format of the analog threshold / counters, so they consume only necessary space? Check the second picture in attachment for visual explanation please.

thank you very much! Thats exactly what I need. I had some trouble with pulse generator precision as it showed significant error cca 2% off correct value (see attachment), but once I uploaded the code to the LOGO!, it works just fine. It seems that pulse generator time discrepancy is problem of simulator, not the block itself.

Could you help me with formatting of HH:MM:SS display please? I am totally new to LOGO, so any more detailed info, link or video would be great.
