You may have an intermediate modbus server that can hold the analog value. And LOGO NAI can read the holding register value stored or mapped on the Modbus server.

However I think with Kinco alone could hold the value within it. No need modbus TCP server.

I don't think so, that VW700 and VW800 solves your problems. I have downloaded the Kinco HMI software to have a look to your project. You don't need the Modbus comunication, because the HMI is able to use the Siemens protocol and this is also selected in your project. In the properties of your sliders you can select the PLC and also the operand, e.g. VW0 or VW2 or anything else.

What i don't know up to now are the settings for the Logo. Maybe you don't need any settings or you add a Siemens HMI. All signals then are done directly to input, output, variable or flag.

Hi, I'm still struggling with the VM's and so.

So I decided to control my lights via the LOGO's TDE. It's simplier but suiting my needs.
