I am using PCS7 v9.0 APL

How can I make multilingual text for UserAna Identifier for example for MotL block and for In01 Text0 and Text1 for example for Interlock block?

I tried to switch the language in SIMATIC Manager by Options->Manage Multilingual Texts->Change Language, change the particular text and switch back, but it does not works.

Hi GabrielG,

the APL-blocks use the attribute "S7_shortcut" to transfer the identifier to the OS. The default texts in ES are configured in the default library in English for the "s7_shortcut", "s7_unit", "S7_string_0" and "S7_string_1" attributes. Configure these texts in the language that is intended for the operator (plant operator) on the OS.
If you would also like to have these texts provided in additional languages on the OS, you have to translate them in the text library of WinCC. When using the APL the fields "s7_shortcut", "S7_string_0" and "S7_string_1" are empty. In this case, the texts are stored multilingual in the faceplate. When these fields are filled, only this text is available which then has to be translated in the text library, just as with the default blocks.
