To connect wincc flexible via mpi adapter

chechevali Posts: 15 Rating: (0)	Dear all, i have anmpi/ppi serialadapter to connect s7-300, i want to use it to connects7-200 with wincc runtime. I canconnect to s7-200from microwin softwareby adjusting the pg/pc parameterstopc/ppi protocol, it works finebut when i adjust the parameters for wincc rt from pg/pc s7online as pc/ppi protocol, there is no communicationmoreover there is no error message like "communication not established" at wincc runtime.I have tried all parametersas baudrate, addresses profile etc. whan can be possible problems?

If you want to use Wcf PC Runtime with s7 200 then you have to use a serial cable...to use a usb cable is not possible. you have to have: 6ES7901-3CB30-0XA0 Now you have to check if you are on the right way with your properties...the best way is to use the following FAQ´s: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/28263099 regards manfred

chechevali Posts: 15 Rating: (0)	Hello Manfred, I have already tried these. My cable is mpi/ppi serial adapter, i use the baudrate 9600and local address 0. Only that way i can connect to microwin.I knew the local address 0 is for usb port but, that`s the fact that i am connectingto serial port with local address 0. So i madesame changings for wincc flexible but still no connection. By the way i am using xp professional servise pack 2
