WinCCFlex 2007 HF4 sql script error

reo193 Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Hi all, I use WinccFlex 2007 HF4 and I try to use SQL commands in scripting editor. I downloaded sample RT hmi software "WinCC_flexible_Access_to_SQL_via_Script.zip" from automation.siemens.com web site. After open the hmi soft with winccflex when I open the script editor. The below error message appears and closes the winccflex. I need help about that. Regards.... Error Message: This is an automatically generated error report for the WinCC flexible Engineering System. Thisone isn´t approved for WinCC flexible. Please use another Windows. Have a look at this, may it helps to decide an other way: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/de/26998997 and thisone http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/de/22055368 I hope you´ll find another way... regars manfred Ho Ho Ho

reo193 Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Hi ogarlo I solved my problem with formatting my PC. Then I didn't install SP3 and now WinCC flex and WinCC works well. That's my solution, unfortunatelly... Good luck.

ga.oscar Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hello reo, thanks for your reply. I did format and load windows xp all again with SP 2 and keep away from SP 3. That worked a couple of days and got the message again. As you know is a pin in the neck restore the pc that often. Have no choice to start all over and watch what can be the trigger of this issue. Regards! Oscar

reo193 Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Hello Manfred; I checked that link maybe ten times when I live that problem. As the table shown I have to install WinCC Flex2008 with XP SP3. After problem, - I install winccflex2008, didn't work - I uninstall SP3 and winccflex2008, didn't work - I checked updates with SP2 and install winccflex2008, didn't work - I install WinCCFlex2008 HF2, didn't work - Finally I format my OS. I install XP with SP2. Install WinCCFlex2008, it works well. I think and as Oscar live that must a problem between OS and WinCCFlex. There must an update or hotfix for it. Regards Hasan
