harewoods Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	Hi, I'm hoping to find a way to proportionally control a pump with an analog output depending on the temperature difference between two pt1000 sensors. The output signal needs to be between 0-5V. If the difference is 4°C the pump should switch on en start to ramp up till 100% (5V analog output) at 10°C difference. So if the difference is bigger, the pump goes faster. if it goes beyond 10°C difference it should stay at 5V. if the difference goes below 4°C it is switched off. At 7°C difference the pump should thus go at 50% (2.5V analog output). How can i make this work in Soft Comfort?

harewoods Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	thank! I have a Siemens Logo! With an AM2 RTD for the sensors and an AM2 AQ to output an analog signal to control the pump. The question now however is mainly how to make the FBD in Soft Comfort that takes the difference of these two analog inputs and convert them to one analog output with the requirements above. I managed to get it working in the attached file. At least.. i get the desired output.. But is there a more elegant way to get the same effect? Attachment modulating pump.lsc.zip (288 Downloads)

You haven't written anything about 2 valves, 2 temperatures, etc. before. But if the program works the way you want it to be, it's fine.
