I knew that you cannot just jump in firmware versions, for example v1 cannot jump to v2, v2 cannot jump to v3 and so on.

for example v4.1 is only upgradeable if you are on V4.0.

since every full firmware number is a different siemens hardware part number

1AG31 is V3

1AG40 is V4

Here you can't update to Version FW V4.x , this is not possible!

So please check yourself the information you provide to other people !

the link you shared  latest version for version 4 cpu to update.

we can not update old version like 3.0 cpu with link you shared to version 4 or 4.1 until now may be Siemens in next provide us 4.0 ver for our ver 3.0 cpu or less than 3.0  version.

I only focus "the lastest firmware of every PLC" he said so i think he want last firmware of S71200, not only the link he send. That is why i ask "why". i know firmware 3 cannot upgrade to firmware 4. Thanks christopd

It is not legal to give export-resticted SW to anyone other.

ask your Siemens sales department for support with this.

maybe they can expedite the process.
