MAS 5: TC65 not communicate in RS232 and "switch autostart off" error

Ricardo Bull Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	hi, When connecting RS232 in Hyperterminal (native serial port serial or USB adapter), I get the message ^SISSTART and after message no communication...not respond AT command, but if click on/off button, received ^SHUTDOWN Tried changing the port speed and only receive this message (^SISSTART) with speed of 115.200 In terminal I have a Java application with serial listerner class and setting AT commands: at^scfg=”Userware/Autostart”,”",”1" at^scfg=”Userware/Autostart/Delay”,”",”0" at^scfg=”Userware/Autostart/Appname”,”",”a:/teste.jar” Is possible hard reset in TC65? Is possible Java application lock terminal? The parameter delay = 0 can cause problems? I tried use "switch autostart off", but received messagem "Error cannot connect to module" regards, RC

along Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Only a guess but... if you have an application running at startup and it's using ASC0 port, the TC65 will ignore AT commands until you quit the app. If the app won't quit, without powering down, it's difficult to get "back in". One trick I've used is from the command prompt (WinXP) to erase the flash files If all else fails try: 1. Quit Hyperterminal if its running 2. Switch power off and before module enters ^SHUTDOWN 3. From the command prompt enter: MESformat . mod:a: This method might take a few attempts to sneak in and remove the app, but I've yet to find a method to get a full factory reset without using AT commands. I try to manage a project , read data from a electric meter with TC65 modem via serial port, but up to this time I couldn't. :) I write a program and deploy it in tc65 modül andI set autostart AT^SCFG="Userware/Autostart/AppName","","a:/sayacoku.jar"andI enabled autostartAT^SCFG="Userware/Autostart","","1"and I set "Userware/Autostart/Delay" to "0" after all of this. The Program doesnt work . and I can't reach TC65. Tc 65 doesn't give any answer from hyper terminal.The program, I wrote, use RS 232 port and I set "Userware/Autostart/Delay" to "0", I tryed "autoexec_off" tool but it doesn't connect to TC65. It gives " Cannot connect to module" error message becouse (I think) My program use Rs 232 at this time.Do you find a solution.. Best regards

Using the graphical “autoexec_off.exe” tool: Connect the module to the PC Start the “Autoexec_Off” program Select the COM-Port (This is critical point) Once module is switched off Press the “AutoExec Off” button You must pressbutton just at this time, just before module shutdown it will work ... best regard...
