Maybe a strange question, but I do not know a way to unselect a part program. I can only reset the program buffer if I delete the selected mpf from the NC memory.

Is it really possible to clear the selected part program?

As I know there's no UNSELECT PI Service...

When the controller starts, the default program is selected. It is MPF0, but it cannot be selected with PI Service by the user.

Please mention cnc pcu details.

While every start of cnc last loaded part program is selected.

You can unload it and load desire program that you want.

Thanks Raman, I don't use PCU. I check the 840Dsl machine through VNC and I did not find this softkey.

Please attach here a screen shots of the screen which you are seeing in VNC connection.
