Hello Fellow SIMATIC Users,

I was wondering if any of you know if it is possible to connect ET200SP MultiFieldbus to SLC 5/03 via Ethernet/IP. The SLC 5/03 does not inherently support Ethernet/IP but I was hoping there might be a Scanner which may be added to allow IO data transfer to the ET200SP MF.

Any ideas how to do this?

A long time ago I remember the SLC 5/04 would work with Modbus RTU. Does your SLC 5/03 provide the same interface?

If so, adding a CM PTP module on the ET 200SP rack would allow serial comms between the 2 processors, one acting as master, the other as slave.Here is an application example for the ET 200SP:
