Share for dumping Audit Trails of MP on computer

Now we have an customer that doesn't want a Share with a Windows CE device on its data network that dumps files.The computer on the data network must read the files (be in control). We can use a small computer (e.g. microbox) to collect all audit trails and transfer these to thecomputer on the data network. Is it necessary to use a full computer or can e.g. IP Harddisks or other networked disks be used as intermediate storage device? Regards, Clemens
