Hi,

To establish a fault-tolerant connection to the S&-1200 CPU, you have three options:

• As said by SPV, you can create two separate unspecified connections in the Netpro, and use the parameters in the GET/PUT block. but please make sure to optimize your data polling cycle as the GET/PUT blocks can affect the performance of opening the faceplates on the OS stations
• The other option is to use the Modbus TCP blocks for a much more effecient data polling cycle and the modbus block for the redundant CPUs will take care of the switchover.
• The third option will work only if you have PCS7 v8.0 SP1 or higher, as you can open the OS server --> Tag managment --> and then add an S7-1200/1500 connection, which will make your life a bit easier to access the data. but you have some limitaions with this method
