i use a micromaster 440 4kw on a dough divider, it drives a crank shaft.

i am getting a f0002 fault each time i exceed 40% speed. a resistor is already installed to transform the power regenerated from the motor, and i tried going up with the ramp time (programmed 0,5secs made it even 10 secs), still no good, tried enabling P1240 , dc v link r0026 does not exceed the trip level P2172.

any suggestions?

Trips on F002

This is a resonance created by the mechanism, mass and speed.

Look at P1091, set this around the 40Hz, which appears to be the sensitive point for the mechanism, this will cause the frequency to skip this sensitive region, and rise to the higher frequency settings.

There may be other sensitive points of resonance which can best be discovered by 'trial and error', once discovered other 'skip' bands can be set. there are four skip bands available, 'skip bandwidth' can also be set.

These over voltages can not be detected easily, an oscilloscope may help, connected to the DC Link; increasing the mass would put more energy into the mechanism, which may move the trip point out of the sensitive area.

The VDC link controller P1240 = 0, should be disabled to allow the resistor brake to be effective.

Typical applications for tripping in this way are, vibrating screens, and mixers.

thanks for the detailed exp,

however, i checked the mechanism and there was no hard points there, usually i detect those mechanical issues by checking the amperage of the motor. 

saturday i replaced the motor by another and i restored the previous parameters registered on another machine, now i reached 70% speed and regular mass percentage, but still i should reach 85%.

no vibrations anywhere detected, mechanism really running smooth :p

i will check today the parameter P1091 as you suggested, 1240 is deactivated.

will also check the voltage during one hour of prod.

been feeding Baguette for africa for the last 15 years :p

The mechanism which you have is a crank shaft drive, and it is this reciprocating motion which at certain, unpredictable speeds will cause the motor to see a high load as the stored energy in the reciprocating mass directly opposes the drive motor. I say 'unpredictable' speed, which I am sure can be calculated, but in a practical application can best be seen by 'trial and error'; once discovered this resonance will stay at that speed provided the mass of the mechanism is not changed.

Whilst this is an over Voltage trip, over current trips are common, as a result of mechanical resonance.
