Changing FM350-1 module to the new one

psea Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hello All! At our system we are using FM350-1 module (6ES7 350-1AH03-0AE0). After i replace it to the new one with the same order number (6ES7 350-1AH03-0AE0) it stops working correctly i.e. there is no any errors on module, but it is not counting anymore. If i place previous module it starts count again. When I change the module I follow next procedure: - switch CPU to Stop - check Coding Key on the new module - replace module - switch CPU to Start What i'm doing wrong?

Ssc_Mikro Posts: 196 Rating: (12)	Hi Psea When you replace the module you have to power of the CPU, the reason is the configuration is only transferred during start of the CPU. Maybe this will help

Aret Posts: 2348 Rating: (265)	Try to reconfigure FM in HW (really you don't have to make any changes), save and compile HW and redownload it to CPU. Then restart PLC.
