Hi mike, 

        Can LOD relay setting file in digsi 4 can be transferred to another relay having LOR communication protocol .

D= MODBUS  , R= IEC61850

I tried three different methods but it is not working.

1. Changing the Device MLFB  using object properties and then opening the project offline & saving it. I intialize the device but it gives error write at the end could not update the parameter set.

2. I updated the parameter set i.e is  LOD relay has  pset= 4.62 & LOR pset = 4.77 i updated it but then also gives same error could not update prameter set.

3. Then i tried creating DEX file instead of variant file . Then also gives the same error could not update pset. 

Is it possible to transfer LOD relay file to LOR relay .

If it is possible then what is the procedure.

If it is not possible then why?
