kambiz talaee Advanced Member Joined: 10/12/2010 Last visit: 2/19/2025 Posts: 37 Rating: (0)	HI we have 840d system and linear motor and LC181 encoder we have faults 26020(00000004H) and 300505 for axes Y and atfirst check cable and it is ok andI do not know what that problem?

Does your alarm comes for the motor encoder or for the scale...could you check Could you disconnect the Linear scale and run in the motor encoder and check have getting the same error... Alarm 26020 says " Axis %1 encoder %2 hardware fault %3 during encoder initialization" (00000004H) ==> Under voltage Alarm 300505 says" Axis %1 drive %2 measuring circuit error of absolute track, code %3" > Check encoders, encoder lines and connectors between drive motor and 611D module. > Check for temporary interruptions (loose contact) caused, for example, by movements in trailing cable.If necessary, replace the motor cable > Closed-loop control module defective or not suitable for EnDat interface (e.g. closed-loop controlmodule with EPROM) Check it out.... Active encoder is linear scale, I changedit, thencable, control modul. Problem is still present. I must unplug scale, reset, plug scale, reset....x-time andfinally its working for few days, weeks... Detailed error description = 4hex, its not position incorrect??? X and Y axis are on the one control modul. Any idea? Thanks.

dtuttle Posts: 18 Rating: (0)	I believe that 4H is position incorrect. I am have a similiar issue as I am getting the same fault with 800H which I believe to be defective encoder, broken cable, etc.
