SFC Type step Processing

kimbul Bronze Member Joined: 8/1/2019 Last visit: 12/8/2025 Posts: 304 Rating: (3)	Im implementing positive logic in the sfc type sequences. In the processing of a step I created a calculation. Now when i copy this calculation to the next step, then the calculation name changes automatically. Because we cannot use same calculation names in SFCs. Is it possible to somehow circumvent this issue? Otherwise the new calculation names look ugly and bothers me.

Oreca Platinum Expert Joined: 3/14/2008 Last visit: 1/15/2026 Posts: 2233 Rating: (987)	Hi, What I always do is to have suffix (StepNr) behind the calculation like: Count total flow (S1000) where S1000 is my stepname This way, it is unique. PS: The names are only checked in a sequencer. If you have another sequencer, calling the same name, it won't be changed automatically only when using the same name in the same sequencer.
