Will be glad if someone can get me link or any documentation towards SCL source code for APL style blocks. Have been using the age old blocks which were created long time ago ( V7.1 & V8.0 ) and this is the time we have adopt the look and fields of newer technology blocks. So any source codes for APL blocks along with APL style faceplates would be a good one.

I do see that Siemens Germany has online course (face to face) named "SIMATIC PCS 7 Block programming in conformance with APL (ST-PCS7BPA)", but this is not available in the Country where I live.

As we have some ongoing projects, would gladly welcome all the help.

I do understand that it takes time to migrate from older style faceplates to APL. We have many blocks, block icons and faceplates created in V7.1 and did use them to great extent in later versions. Now in the latest versions of PCS7 we dont have faceplate designer and have to rely on APL style. This takes time and we are on the verge of project completion. I tried installing older version of faceplate designer and creating faceplates to accommodate older faceplates in the latest version of PCS7. I see that some of the functions like PCS_UpdatePermission_V6 which were used in earlier faceplates are missing in the default C Global scripts--> faceplatedesignerv6. Can we still make older faceplates to work in the latest version of PCS7? If so, please do let me know. Whats the best suggestion considering the situation I am into.

Correction to my earlier post. In fact script "PCS_UpdatePermission_V6" and other older scripts do exist in the newer version of PCS7.
