At the moment, the system has an operator station OS on PCS7.

There should be a transfer of the project to the Client-Server configuration (redundant Server + 3 clients).

As I understand , actually you have a single User System ES/OS and you need to migrate to ES/Master and Standby OS , correct ? or ES and OS Master with OS Standby .

What's the PCS 7 version ?

Below the main steps with a minimum change / modification for version 8.x 9.x :

You need to start first with OS Server / Stanby configuration 

- In PCS7 you add a new PC Station With a WinCC Appl. (Stby.) and a CP Card if exist connected to the existing Subnet Network.

- Open the properties dialog of the Standby OS. Switch to the "Target OS and Standby OS Computer" tab and select the path of the target OS Computer

- Execute the Station Configuration Editor

- Configure and loading the AS-OS Communication in NetPro

- In your exixting Wincc Project , you change it to Multiuser project

- you generate the server data

Now for Client , you need to create a Terrminal Bus network , 

-Cretae a new PC with Client application , and you select the target OS server

- Execute the Station Configuration Editor

- and the same for other or you can create a Ref..Client

We have two separate identical OS with PCS7 v71.

The next we will make upgrade

2OS v71 - v80 - v82 - v90 - Os Redundant - SRV Reduntant + 3 client

In this case , you will do first the upgrade , after that , one of the existing OS will be the Main server 

After that you create the redundant Server and all needed OS Configuration , Net Pro ,....

When the have a ready Configuration AS , OS Server and Redundant then you can start OS client Configuration.
